It never ceases to amaze me the delight painting can bring.  My favourite medium and the only one I work with is oils. For me personally, I find their sumptuous colours, texture and depth unrivalled, also they have a forgiving nature.  I was born and live in England and work from my home art studio which overlooks the beautiful Cheshire countryside.    I am a intuitive painter and completely self taught having never had a single lesson.  My process starts in meditation, and through my inner vision, first comes the feeling then the imagery. During the birthing of each creation I am still following and trusting my intuition, the process is very fluid as there is never a set plan.

I have been a meditation practitioner for 30 years,  I am a Reiki Master and also a registered member of The Healing Trust.   I combine my art with my guided meditations to provide a unique experience for those wishing to learn meditation.  As early as I remember, I have had a deep love of all animals with a particular passion for horses, being blessed to have spent most of my life with them.  My own beloved horse Tomy (pictured below) was a great love, teacher and best friend for me.   Through my art, it is my way of honouring the beauty and nobility of the horse, not only its outer form, but its inner strength, loyal nature and Divine spirit.  I believe humanity owes a great debt to the horse, which has stood strongly by our side throughout the ages.

In all my paintings, I try to capture a feeling of upliftment and light, with each painting taking on a life of its own and always having a deeper meaning.  With my paintings comes a poetic inscription hinting at the inspiration and symbolism behind them, though in my mind a person will identify with the painting in their own way.   My hope is that they touch the heart of the viewer, ignite the imagination and fill the soul with great joy, bringing about a sense of sweet magic and healing.  Each painting takes weeks to complete and I can honestly say, every single one is a joyous labour of love.
